A client platform with a conventional Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client (such as the Remote Desktop Connection) is not always available for accessing terminal servers. However, many companies need users or administrators to be able to work with applications on terminal servers without prior manual installation of such an RDP client, if at all possible.
