Books on Linux Kernels

These books, like this one, discuss the Linux kernel. Unfortunately, there are not too many good books in this categoryI guess that is good for this book. These two books are great, though.

A. Rubini and J. Corbet . Linux Device Drivers. O'Reilly and Associates, 2001. An excellent discussion on how to write device drivers for the 2.4 kernel. Jon Corbet is an excellent writer and friend, and I recommend this book wholeheartedly to compliment my own.

D. Mosberger and S. Eranian . IA-64 Linux Kernel: Design and Implementation. Prentice Hall, 2002. A great look at the Intel Itanium architecture and its port of the Linux 2.4 kernel. Written by the maintainer of the IA-64 kernel port.
