Installing WebLogic 8 Service Packs

WebLogic Server 8 series includes the Smart Update feature. This feature determines whether a service pack is available for your current WebLogic 8 series installation. Smart Update further prompts you with directions for installing the service pack. To activate the command, navigate to your BEA home directory and execute the bsu script as shown. The script is located within the utils directory under your BEA home directory.

Windows

.\utils\bsu.cmd

Unix

./utils/bsu.sh

For Unix, ensure that you have execute rights to the shell script.
